This is to everyone who is grateful to the United States of America Service Academy Forums.
I'm requesting business cards from TacticalNuke and will be distributing them to my Senators, local MOC and anyone else that ask about the process. I feel that this site has been essential in the process and will be more then happy to promote it. I've already spoken to MOCs contact and he has agreed to display them at information sessions. Just think if you knew early on that the site existed. How much easier it would have been. I'm reaching out to the grateful parent,B&G officers, and anyone interested in helping to get the word out. I ask you do the same.

I think you meant to put this on the USNA thread, not the AFA thread.

I would suggest that a great way to inform people of this site is to contact the local ALO/BGO/MALO and the high school's gcs.

Another suggestion on how to spread the word is whenever you are on College Confidential.com answering a post remind them of this site. Many candidates actually find that site first because they apply to multiple colleges, however, have very specific questions that this site helps with more, i.e. DODMERB, ROTC, and Noms.

I always answer in those unique questions to visit this site and write out the name with the www so it becomes a blue link.

The link for newcadet.com goes to a "ning" page that says the newcadet page doesn't exist. Any other way to get there or did the site go away? Sounds like a great site that I would spend some time on!
 
It may have disappeared in the past few months. If it went away that is sad, because they had links for this site and the others that I mentioned. They would pick the hottest threads for each branch and link them to the thread.
As a parent it is not really existing for you. It is more of a facebook type for candidates and applicants.
 
I too have business cards for this website that I received from admin tacticalnuke. We give them out to new prospective applicants when they make first contact with the ALO's. I also give them to interested students at the local high school. When my son came home for thanksgiving, he was asked by his ALO and the high school to come visit for a Q&A. He handed some out there. I also hand some out to current cadets every time I'm at the academy. I'm there about 10 times a year.

And if any of you would like to have some business cards with this website on it; but you don't want a whole box, just pm me. I'll put 20-30 in an envelope and mail them to you. I'll even pay for the stamp. Hee Hee. I'd love to see this website become a major source of Q&A for those interested in any of the service academies. Mike....
