BWI will be jammed with midshipmen this afternoon. First time we will see our Plebe since the end of Christmas leave.

He can't wait to get off the Yard for a week.

Mine is on a bus to JFK, with her Navy Rugby Team and then on to Ireland for the week. Combination of spring break and tuning up the Rugby team for National Championship tournament in April. She is happy, life is good.

Spent the week with my 2nd class touring Ireland two years ago. St. Patrick's day and parade in Killarney (Cill Airne) was amazing. Like a small hometown parade in the US with farm tractors at the end. If they can see the Dublin parade it is a great show. The whole country shuts down for the day. The Guinness is definitely better there but the green dye is missing from the brews. You couldn't see it in Guinness anyway.

Word today was the Guiness Factory tour and enjoying Dublin. Watch a couple live Rugby matches and a coaches/players clinic hosted by some world class rugby coaches. Having a great time. Keeping plebes in line is like hearding cats.

Son is out west in the mountains doing the skiing/snowboarding thing with USNA buddies.

Plebe son is out west with girlfriend at Aunt's house. Frisbee golf, bike riding, beach are on the agenda. Older AROTC son is with us here in Shanghai. Everyone is having fun!

DS is home with us. He was planning a trip to the Florida sea shore, but decided to come home instead, yay us--though I think seeing his GF had more to do with that decision than seeing us!

Bait often helps catch fish of all kind. As long as you use unbarbed hooks and release 'em back into the mid-stream.

Still sleeping and has been since Saturday afternoon:biggrin:

When mine is home, she staggers out to the sofa and takes naps with the TV remote in her hand:smile:

You gotta be an Academy parent to understand this humor.

She can't even find the remote. Leaves it for the little sister:thumb: She just woke up now about 14:30 and right on schedule. Ooorah "Semper Fi". Sleep when you can and "rest" with your eyes open at any other time. Hope Dublin was great for them. Wait until they get to go to the Parade on Thursday. Hope they go with some of the other Ireland Rugby teams. It will be a great experience.

Semper-Fi is right. Mine hits TBS with Echo in June.

They will be in Limerik on Thursday for St. Particks Day.

From what I have heard from Aunt, DS has not stopped moving for more than a few minutes. Bike riding all over Long Beach! don't know where he gets all the energy!!

Wearing a grove in the couch playing games and watching movies. I kidded her that other kids actually "Do stuff" over spring break, she just smiled and said she's where she wants to be. Oh, she's cooking too. "Get out of the kitchen dad, I got this covered."

Limerick and the banks of the Shannon. Should be a great time in the west.:thumb: Should be a great parade and party there.
TBS for July and FOX. Will give a big cheer for all those dress blues passing across the stage.
