    Hello everyone!
It seems nearly every question about cadet life, liberty, guest visits, cellphones/tablets, etc. are answered with "it depends on your squad."
How are the squads made, is it luck (or unlucky:eek:) of the draw, by major, etc?
    Thanks!

As Doolies I believe it is simply "luck of the draw". My understanding is that after the first year there is some attempt to balance both the number of cadets in the squadrons and their GPAs, PFT scores ect.

    Squadrons

Except that this year there is a very good chance that they will not change after Doolie year. The current likelyhood is that they will stay with 1 squadron for 2 years then change to another.
1st squadron is total chance but you can request your second squadron if you have legacy (parent in that squadron, etc).

    Thank you for the info!
So, who decides the privileges and punishments, is that just the nature of your specific cadet leadership? I guess it also depends on the nature of that specific group of underclassman at any given moment...
    Thanks!
