We arn't all that bad.....

well maybe bsa07eagle is that bad.....watch out for him

Cadets may not all be bad... But cadets ALL talk...

Loose lips sink ships... Even if we let the good ones in... xD

Hey, ArapWarrior, do you know what flight you are in. My DD is in squadron 23 which maps out to flight C for Flying Tigers. What a coincidence if two "Arapahoe Warriors" end up in the same squadron!

I don't know if they published flights. If they did I can't find it anywhere.

ArapWarrior: Okay then. Well good luck in BCT! You will do great! Remember, Warriors always take care of one another!

I think your 'list' of squadrons should include the cadre for each squadron as known....looks like Tutmom and I have cadre for Interceptors, for example.
BCT 1 and BCT 2!! uh ho.

I am wary of squadron assignments being posted pre-I-day. But, perhaps I am becoming a bastion of back-when-it-was-hard, by proxy!!

Have fun 'connecting and networking'...the Interceptors may have secured the capital B in Beast.....the capital I in 'Ick'.

Aggressors: Your Squadron color will be Light Blue - A Flight: CS-01 B Flight: CS-02 C Flight: CS-03 D Flight: CS-04

Barbarians: Orange - CS-05 - CS-08

Cobras: Purple - CS-09 - CS-12

Demons: Green - CS-13 - CS-16

Executioners: Dark Blue - CS-17 - CS-20

Flying Tigers: Red - CS-21 - CS-24

Guts: Maroon - CS-25 - CS-28

Hell Cats: Yellow - CS-29 - CS-32

Interceptors: Black - CS-33 - CS-36

Jaguars: Royal Blue - CS-37 - CS-40

Parents and friends of cadet candidates: Take note of the colors associated with each squadron. When Webguy begins posting photos this will be the best way to narrow down the thousands of photos of BCT participants who suddenly all look the same with short hair and ABUs. The lanyard color around their neck will tell you if you're looking at the right squadron, and on Field Day they will wear t-shirts in their squadron color, also.

Yes! Upon reaching their C3C academic year, cadets of graduates have the option of moving into their parents squadron(legacy), they are the only ones who have a choice of squadrons. Other than that everyone else is random. It has been said that they try to balance the squadrons as equally as possible with assorted talents. I know in my DD squadron right now they have lost quite a few from her class and said that if anymore leave that other squadrons with more might have to move to hers. Not sure how accurate that might be. They currently have 23 and started with 30. With commitment around the corner it does make one think.

lsredmond........How did you find your flight assignment? We have saw squadron assignment, but not flight. Just wondering where it is posted. Thanks!

I believe lsredmond has an upper class cadet. My son (2014) said he thought that only squadrons (not flights/Academic year squadrons) were being given out now. Of course that narrows it down to 4 for the academic year!

Yes, lsredmond has a DD that I went to school with last year.

It sounds like the AFA is doing it differently this year and assigning report times by squadron. Since you're in the last squadron--Jaguars--it would be reasonable to think noon is a valid time. Last year incoming basics could arrive anytime during the window they gave--maybe 7:00 to noon? Can't remember exactly, we got there around 7:30 and it wasn't too crowded. Maybe they felt too many people waited until the end?

I think I have it figure out to a point.
Aggressors: report 0645

I do know that Cobras: report 0745... So I was thinking about every thirty per squadron but as the day goes on it gets strecthed out so it would make sense Jags would bein at noon as they are the last. Interceptors around 1100
would be another guess but someone who is a Interceptor could verify...

Report Times

Found this on the AOG website under the Bed & Breakfast program. Hard to believe it's only two weeks away.....

6:45 AM Aggressors Arrive
7:15 AM Barbarians Arrive** *
7:45 AM Cobras Arrive
8:30 AM Demons Arrive
9:00 AM Executioners Arrive
9:30 AM Flying Tigers Arrive
10:15 AM Guts Arrive
10:45 AM Hellcats Arrive* * * * * *
11:15 AM Interceptors Arrive
12:00 PM Jaguars Arrive

So about 105 cadet's in each squadron. I'm guessing each squadron will be split in to 3 flights of 35. Is that how it works?

No. There are 4 flights per squadron. Read Post #22 on this thread.

I am an interceptor, and my reporting time is 11:15, so it sounds like you are correct!
