How competitive is Stanford NROTC?
Will a 3.8 GPA with 10+ AP courses, 34 ACT, and numerous national ranked awards qualify me?
Also, is neurobiology a possible major option or will Navy not approve of it?
I'm taking AP Chemistry and AP Biology senior year, did AP Physics C junior year, still plan on majoring in Biophysics.

Grades and leadership aren't enough.. you need sports as well for the athlete category. They care about whole person.

I think the issue will be more getting into Stanford than getting the scholarship. Chances are highest for Tier 1 majors with yours either being Tier 2 or 3, your chances are lower. I suspect although your requested major isn't word for word marching a major on the Tier 2 list it would fall there, but no guarantee. None of us know, all you can do is apply and prepare for any situation and have back ups. Good luck!

Although you have good stats, Stanford and MIT are probably the hardest schools in the country to get into. My DS applied to to these schools in 2009 but did not get in. You pretty much need perfect stats or some kind of "hook" to get into these schools. Best of luck.

The NROTC unit for Stanford is at Univ. of California Berkeley. The commute is tough - we know several people that do it daily in the opposite direction from the East Bay to the Stanford area. The commute is 45 minutes to 1.5 hours each way easily - depending on the time of day. You can check with the Cal Berkeley NROTC unit on the requirements for PT, weekly labs, etc. Getting into Stanford is the first step, as discussed above. Have backup plans B, C & D thought out and in place. Good luck.

I'm varsity Track and Field and Varsity Ultimate Frisbee

To my knowledge.. Frisbee is not a varsity sport. I am my schools ultimate team captain but it is a club level sport.

Ultimate is not a GHSA sanctioned sport so it can't be varsity. That may be just where i live but it may be something to look into before putting it on your app.
