State-specific appointment questions

Alabama?

Anyone hearing news in Alabama district 1. I saw district 7 is on the list as of this morning, but I've seen nothing else.

I am in the same boat as you... Nothing yet. I was nominated by Smith. I contacted my admissions counselor on Monday and she said if you have not heard anything yet then you are still under decision. She also said everyone should be notified in the next month.
 
We are from Norfolk - last year our son found out through his portal followed by a BFE. We never heard from a MOC.

Also - last year it seems like there were two big weeks with lots of notifications. This would have been the 2nd week but it seems they are a week behind this year, just looking from the outside. I know from our DS that a lot has been going on at USAFA and the Supt is new so it seems like some things are slightly different than in the past.

I'm from Alabama District 4, and I got my acceptance today. Though, I haven't heard anything from District 1 either.
 
I'm from Alabama District 3, I got my appointment on February 3. I haven't heard or seen anything from any other districts besides what was posted above.

I've again merged all state-specific appointment questions into one thread. In order to prevent cluttering the forum page, this thread is a place to ask questions about specific states and appointments.

Note that this thread does not replace the Class of 2018 Appointee thread, which is a valuable resource for tracking appointments and sharing successes.
 
DS still waiting in SC02. Any news of SC appointees? There is only one posted so far.
