Should my daughter be worried that her application status has not been updated as complete? It still says that her college transcripts are needed(she's a college freshman) although they were sent mid January and the USAFA counselor says he received them. The deadline for all materials needed is February 15th and she's concerned.

I'm in the same boat. The ONLINE PORTAL won't show complete, but her file is complete at the Academy. Mine shows incomplete too, and so do my friends in college who are applying, but that is nothing to be concerned about if the counselor says first semester transcripts have been received. The online portal is mostly for your use to keep up to date with your app, as long as the counselor says you are fine, then you are fine. Don't sweat it.
What will happen is this for college kids: The application will be reviewed and a conditional appointment will be given out. Then at the end of the year, you send in your final college grades, "completing" your application. As long as you maintain decent grades you will keep that appointment.
