Still in the Game

Mine never toured or visited...not since his brother was there. @milmomwan: after the QNS arrived last year, my DS was offered a 3 year ROTC scholarship...so be on the lookout. Often if a candidate is high on the list but not offered appointment, they hear from ROTC.
 
To give you hope: my friend's daughter received an appointment today...after being told by her FFR a month ago that she would not.
 
DS got the official status update today and even though he knew being QNS was very likely at this late date, the rejection still stung (actually more than expected). Life will go on and thankfully his goal of being an army officer is still alive.
 
I received my portal update the other day. I do plan to re-apply but am curious about one thing. The letterhead on the pdf updated on my portal was dated May 4th but was not updated onto my portal until May 27th. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else and possibly why the delay in updating the portal with it. Also, good luck to the Class of 2019!

Same for DS. We didn't notice until you mentioned the dates not being the same. If the decisions were made in early May, why leave people hanging?
