My 1st post
I just joined the site. We have been waiting on word for my son's NROTC scholarship sinc the end of October. I thought we had gotten everything in early and had no idea it would take this long! This site has been some comfort and some further stress. I don't know what to think about his chances anymore.

Just a curious question. Did any of you who are waiting to hear from NROTC receive an appointment to any of the Academies?
Have a number of Academy candidates who HAVE received appointments but not heard a word re: NROTC
Have kids who completed NROTC applications in mid-December who were not applying to an Academy and have already received scholarships.
As stated in prior posts, this is one of the most lopsided candidate cycles I have seen in 10 years.
