I believe the First Captain one year was 26 upon graduation. Also, when I went and did my overnight, my plebe's classmate (also a plebe) was 22 years old, having done 2 years of enlistment and 1 year at USMAPS.
it took me two years to get accepted into USMA. I was just finishing my sophomore year at NYU when I got in. I then proceeded to freak out and leave after Beast. Regret. Don't leave. 2nd time shows that you are a determined candidate who is ready to overcome adversity and is committed to USMA. Stay strong in college and NEVER LOSE SIGHT of what matters.
