Hello. Hoping some of you can help DS and I understand this.
DS receive an email from an unknown person today. It went something like this:
" I know we are all busy but you stated to me at least three times that you would have the 4060's completed by the end of the week, Do you know when this will be?" " If you can not give these to me, the you should let me know so a new ALO could be assigned to the Candidate and give them a chance to get these started."
Weird I know. I would have thought this was spam or something but DS status is " candidate" Class of 2015. He also has had a hard time getting in touch with his ALO. Only met him one time in the beginning of September. DS has left several phone messages an no response. We just thought he wasn't interested in DS.:frown:
Here is the question(s): What is a 4060 and Do you think this email was intended for my DS?
Thank you for all of your help! Hopeful Mom for DS USAFA 2015.

The form 4060 is a form used by the ALO for the candidate. Sounds like the email came from admissions or your state/district LOD. I definitely suggest that your child contact their academy admissions counselor and mention all of this to them. It sounds like the ALO hasn't done the 4060 form on your son. They may have simply CC'd your son on the email or sent it to him because the ALO wasn't responding. Either way, call the admission counselor TOMORROW. You need to get this resolved soon. Best of luck. Mike....

I'm with CC here.

It sounds to me like ya'll were "mis-copied" on an ALO message; probably from the LOD to an ALO, asking why a 4060 was late.

We do NOT like to be late on these...

Thank you so much, Christcorp and flieger83!!!! I really apppreciate your response here. I will have DS phone admissions tomorrow with this information. I'm so glad I asked ( wasn't going to bother anyone with this at first) but DS is glad I did!!
Thanks again, Rangermom.
