Strange question, I know

I am in the process of re-submitting a waiver that was previously denied, and I am assuming that the Cadet Command Surgeon would probably not be pleased to see me on birth control, even if it's for non-contraceptive reasons. I am currently not taking this medication nor have ever taken it, but my doctor recommends it.

Has anyone been in this odd situation before?

Understand, when a waiver is denied, it is very difficult to overcome UNLESS you are able to provide incontravertible proof that the issue did not exist; the healing has been completed; or things along those lines.
