So first period of Summer Op's is over. Cadets are all over the world right now. Potter just got back from Randolph in Tx. She had a T-6 Texan flight and two rides in the T-39 Talon. While she was there she got to go to Brooks and see what AF Behavioral Scientist do, and many other exciting things.

I just saw pictures of Falcon that would make Bullet long for earlier days. Two F-15 rides man I'm jealous. So if you guys make to camp USAFA and survive the first couple summers just think what you may get to do.

Boy is has been a long day. Saw lots of pictures of Hornetguy in the F15...not Falcon

My first semester at Camp USAFA...we visited a sponsor squadron: The AF Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB.

That week I was lucky...I got to fly in:

KC-135
F-111
F-4E

Yep...those were the days...

hehe, 2 F-15D rides in a week. I'm in heaven! I better be quiet, Bullet might come shoot me! :)

Flieger first it has been longer for him since his last Eagle ride. Potter was pretty giddy about going up in the Talon twice too. She did say you had to one up by 1G.....not really sure I would have wanted pulling 7G in a T38...I know her mom was happy it was only 6G when she heard the G-Suit bruised her stomach.

She also learned she isn't tall enough to man the HUMMV turret. They went to an army simulator and her feet couldn't touch the floor board in the turret spot. Has a new found respect for close combat and the things the Army does.
