Summer Prep Week

DD is a C4C. Anybody know if she will be done after last final (or LMD finals week), or does she stay on base for "Summer Prep Week: and/or Grad Week? Thanks. Trying to coordinate a family vacation with three competing college schedules.

She will not be done until after Grad Week. The calendar will show the three summer periods available, one of which she will have leave. I can't remember exactly when they find out which period that they get leave but it is sometime in the Spring. That of course can change right up until the last day if her other summer assignments change.

I believe there is a 3 or 4 day period between finals and grad week. Our C4C(last year) went camping with some buddies in the mountains. They have to be there for grad week which is pretty relaxing time and they get to see the Thunderbirds practice. I think they change rooms at this time which they end up doing a few more times over the summer.

Ok, so as best I can tell, and subject to any last minute changes, Cadets get a 96 hour pass between finals and grad week. The can choose which 96 hour period to take, but is not extended if out of finals early.
