Summer Seminar Acceptance

If you get waitlisted, do they say that on the app/send you an email?
 
I am from NY, and got accepted today. :biggrin: I applied on Dec 1.
There are still 71 slots for A, 69 for B, and 64 for C so a lot more applications still to go out. Anyone know how many slots there are total for each session?
 
Anyone from Washington? just submitted my application a few days ago but its already changed to "Applicant".

I'm from Colorado and my status still says "Application Submitted". Do you know anyone from Colorado who has had any status updates? With all these posts regarding acceptances and at the very least "under review" I am starting to worry that my application didn't get submitted or never made it through to the Academy.
 
No, it definately got through. They review applications far into Feb, so don't worry about that. They'll get to you soon enough.
 
I think I read somewhere that there was a total of 350 for each slot, but don't quote me on that :)
 
Alabama here. Received an offer this morning and chose Session B - there were about 200+ left in A and about 150+ left in B and C - don't remember the exact count though...
 
I thought I'd heard earlier that there were only 65-70 spots available in each session. Do they break down the spots per region?

In Colorado, still hasn't changed ... application submitted waiting to process :(
 
I thought it was in the neighborhood of 350 per session also...
 
Sorry Romad, I meant 65-70 spots STILL available in each session. I, too heard that there are about 350 spots total available in each session. Earlier in the thread someone had mentioned that there were only 65-70 spots still open.

Just somewhat confused...
 
Last year I took the last spot for session C in mid Feb.
 
seems like the western states will be last. by reading this..you see acceptances in maine,new york, wisconsin, alabama, and now texas. It looks like it's moving though...just have to wait until they reach your state.:smile:

So does that mean that 150+ kids got accepted to each session already? :bang:
 
DD just got her acceptance in an email, she's at school, so we'll have to wait until she gets home to accept and pick her session. We're in Ohio.
 
She applied within the first week it opened up. We checked a couple days ago and it said "Application under consideration"
 
I think everyone has different waiting period... depending on location and filing..
So, don't worry too much.
My son applied SS at December 27, 2010.
Status changed to Applicant(under consideration): January 4, 2011
Offered and Accepted: January 10, 2011.
Exactly total two weeks taken to start/accept. He was lucky.
I'm in PA.
