Summer Seminar Application + Academy application

When I applied to the USAFA summer seminar, I noticed that there was an option to use that application as the application to the academy. Which step does this count as? I believe that it is the Pre-Candidate Questionnaire, but it was not very specific. Does anyone know what this does for me?

It acts as a PCQ. You still fill out an entire actual application
