I was accepted into both the USAFA and USNA Summer Seminars. From what I understand, attendees are chosen on a geographical basis. I live in a very competitive area, so from what I assume, there were a lot of applicants to the program, but only a few were actually chosen. So my question is what does this mean for my chances at receiving an appointment. I know that "being accepted into the SS does not mean anything in terms of receiving an appointment". But is this true? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Haha... I'm not worried, just curious.

Yeah it is true. But being accepted to both summer seminars means your on the right track. I was actually rejected to both Navy and West Point summer seminars, but I got myself back on track and got accepted to both USNA and West Point. Just don't slack off! Good luck!
