I have just submitted my application for the Summer Seminar and was wondering how long it took to hear back from them. It is a lot different from West Point's SLE because for West Point, I get access to the candidate portal.

Thank You

DD submitted her application last year on the very first day the summer seminar application opened up on line. She heard within 2 weeks that she had been accepted for summer seminar.

It can vary from 2 weeks to 3 months. I know a candidate who didn't hear until late April. He was accepted!

My DS was rejected from NASS and found this out in MArch , but was offered a CVW for late April. Prior to his going to the CVW he got an email stating that he was accepted into NASS and had 3 days to accept. All of this information came in an email... not his portal. He attended the CVW and NASS .. loved both. He got his LOA in August and appointment in November.
Hope this helps!:thumb:

It takes awhile sometimes. I didn't received my acceptance into NASS until the middle of May and I went to the session #1

My son has been ready and waiting for the NASS application for months. He filled out the application as soon as it was posted.

I've been reading this site for several months now. Assuming my son will be deemed an official candidate, I have a better understanding about the application process, and all the trials, tribulations (and excitement) that, hopefully, we'll be going through in 2014.

Congratulations to all the BFE recipients, and good luck for all who anxiously await. You're all truly blessed to have made it this far.

Thank you all for your insight.
