You got that right! If you go back and read the writings from when our country was founded, it is amazing that we survived (although much of it led to those series of skirmished between 1861 and 1865).
 
Violence is often the easiest way to enforce one's will, but it is far from the most long lasting!

Rebuilding gets overlooked more often than not.
 
I've been following the reports for awhile, and I must say I am also leery of the outcome of this rebellion..

Change is good, but we will soon see if/when the rebels decide to give up military power to form a democratic government.

We thought Gaddafi was an neutral leader to the US, though his supports of terrorism grew. Our relations with him were good until we bombed in 1986...we can not see this overthrow as a positive yet...
