Switching Academies

I want to know if it is possible to switch between academies, like if I were attending USMMA would I be able to transfer to USMA or USNA while keeping the same grade level? I ask this because I feel as though I have a better chance of getting into USMMA which is not my first choice of school, I also like the majors at USMA the much more.

First: Going to one Academy with intentions of going to another is a horrible idea.

Second: You cannot transfer to a different Academy. You are certainly welcome to reapply to other academies; however, you will start all over again at freshman year. Some of your courses may transfer, but you will not be given advanced standing.

I did have a member of my plebe class at USMMA apply and be accepted to USNA which he then went on to complete and graduate. He left KP sometime around March or April of our plebe year and then started plebe year all over again at USNA.
