How important are the teacher evaluations submitted to the academy? It is my understanding they are done electronically. What questions are the teachers asked to answer? Do the teachers have to be current, or the last teacher the applicant has or had in the particular subject, or can the candidate submit the name of a prior math or English teacher, who may be even more favorable?

There are questions about this every year, so you can search to find a number of answers.

You can ask any high school math, English, and science teacher that you've had.

I have read that the evaluations make up a third of your leadership profile, so a tenth of your WCS. The questions are not supposed to be known by the candidates. The teacher can be from any year of your high school career, but you must have one English, one math, and one physics or chemistry teacher give you an evaluation.
