Nominations were announced today for Congressman Ron Paul's district - Texas 14. As Congressman Paul is retiring, this is his last slate of nominations being submitted. Congratualtions to all who were named as academy nominees.
My son found out today that he was honored to received one of Congressman Paul's USNA nominations.
A couple of questions, as we are new to all of this... at what point do the MOC's notify the academies of their nominees? Also, should he notify his BGO that he has received a nomination. His file as complete with USNA, but we have not heard from them as of yet.

DS's nom is for USMA and his portal was updated this morning to show his nomination. I am not sure if it works the same for USNA.
I am sure your son's BGO knows. If they are like our FFRs, they seem to know everything very quickly and work closely with the congressional offices. But it culdn't hurt to check in.
