Hey, I was recently accepted to Texas A&M University at the in state tuition rate. I also received a Type 7 AFROTC scholarship. I understand that at some universities, if a student has received an ROTC scholarship that they will qualify for free/reduced room and board. Is this the case at A&M?

Thanks for any help you can provide! :D

I don't think so. In ROTC at Texas A&M you would stay in the Corps of Cadets dorms all four years and buy a meal plan. The dorm charge is on the low end, but there are other costs like mandatory season football tickets. If you do a Spend the Night with the Corps, they will give out a lot of information, and the costs are pretty well spelled out. If you have not visited, you should definitely do that before making a final decision.
