As we all know, Brian (bsa07eagle) has been the catalyst in organizing the Sunday evening dinners before the three orientations this month. On behalf of the parents and future cadets who attended one of the dinners, I'd like to thank Brian and his parents for arranging the dinners and truly being hosts of Colorado Springs. I look forward to seeing you at I-Day and Parents Weekend. Again, thank you! Mike and Ryan

I agree - Brian it was great to meet you and you did a super job putting it all together. During the first dinner I had many people ask me if I was involved in arranging the dinner and tried to steer everyone your way and make sure you got all the credit! Everyone I spoke with really appreciated all the effort you went to and in the back room at least you got a round of applause (sorry you missed it! ). Thanks again!

Brian, those were a good time. I'm glad I was able to make them. PM me your PO box number so I can send you a singing card or something to express my appreciation.

I'll add my thanks as well. I'm no social butterfly, but the dinner Brian organized made it easy for my husband and me to meet other parents and appointees and immediately start making some wonderful connections. I was very impressed by the cadets who joined us, as well as the other families there. What a very special group of folks!

Thanks, Brian, for making that get-together possible!

It's really nice to see Brian get the recognition he deserves. I obviously haven't attended any of the orientation dinners, but Brian while in his quest for an appointment, has been instrumental in helping many applicants on this forum. For him to assist with the dinners seems to be natural for him. And I KNOW he's going to continue on these forums helping the next generation of applicants..... RIGHT BRIAN...... Don't make me come down there. LOL!!!! Mike.... P.S. Brian; definitely thanks for all your contributions. Mike....

thanks brian and we know you will either be a future alo or teach at the academy:smile:

Yes, thank you very, very much for arranging the dinner. It was a great opportunity to meet all parents and appointees as well as great advice and help from Cadets. We appreciated everything you all did.

This is bsa07eagle's dad. I just wanted to say that his parents had nothing to do with this (*smile*). Brian did it all and allowed us to enjoy the orientation dinner just like the rest of parents from out of town. I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the parents over the next 4 years. Thanks Brian!

Well Dad-de-la-Brian; (That's Spanglish for Brian's Dad. LOL!!!). Not sure if Brian mentioned our Football Tailgates (Thudgate; largest tailgate west of the Mississippi); but being you're from Colorado Springs, I definitely hope to see you at the game on parent's weekend, as well as ALL home games. It's a great time to see our cadets. If you need more info about the games, I'll be posting info closer to around August. Hope to see you there. Later.... Mike......

Just wanted to send our thanks as well. We meet quite a few new families and the cadet who sat in our area was fab!! He was quite entertaining and shared great information. We definitely rolled in our seats quite a few times. It was a great night, and we really appreciate your hard work setting it all up, Brian.
