We didn't find this forum until May of this year. My son is now a swab, getting ready for Mystic Flag Ceremony. There is so much info here that would have made the process easier, but I'm glad I'm here now. Keep up the good work, keep passing on the great info!

Please consider joining the Coast Guard Academy Parents Association and becoming active in your local chapter. It is a great network of cadet parents who can offer advice and support as your cadet progresses through the academy. I also strongly recommend you join the Coast Guard Foundation. They are major contributors to the academy as well as to all Guardians out in the fleet.
