Keep in mind this isn't the only thing on my mind its just one of the things I've been wondering about.

At what time are you allowed to have a girlfriend at the Academy? And do you get in trouble for hooking up with girls?

your first year at the academy you can have a girlfriend if she doesnt go to the academy. You can date some in your class. After recognition you can date upperclassmen.

correction- after graduation you can date upperclassmen. Common misconception.

Hooking up with girls? I'm not even going to respond to that...

Dating? You can date those in your class. Upperclassmen can be considered fraternization.

If the military wants you to have a "Date"; they'll issue you one. They take care of all your needs.

What? I told my kid it was the military, or I was KICKING his butt out of the house and into the street!!!

Actually; I just picked him up at the Academy yesterday. He just started his 3 week summer vacation. He just finished CST (Combat Survival Training). He lost about 10 pounds in a week. So, now his mom is "Fattening Him Up". It's hard to believe that next Thursday will be EXACTLY 1 YEAR!!!! Good luck 2013. "May the Swartz be With You"

Dude you must be the most sheltered kid in the world. hahaha. You pass judgement on everyone so fast. It would be nice if I was perfect like you...

CC. I burst out laughing when I read your post. I'll keep that in mind. :thumb:

Judgement? I didn't say anything about the poster. In fact I did just the opposite, I refrained from judging and didn't event state an oppinion. It seems you are the one that has decided to judge me. Irony and Hypocracy all in one post. Bravo!

And I am by no means perfect or sheltered. I know all these things happen but it doesn't mean I have to be okay with it. Maybe when/if you have a daughter you will understand. I'm sure all the parents on here agree that they don't want guys looking to "hook up" going to the same school as their daughter. They want guys who will be proffesional and actually pay attention to their education instead of just trying to chase skirts.

The maturity level on this thread astounds me. Are some of you really trying to come to my academy?
