July is coming up soon for us reapplyers. Good luck to all for this next admissions period.

I just discovered this site, but how many are there on this forum that are reapplying?

What exactly is in the TWE?

I'm going to assume you know it is the rejection letter.

Mine reads:

Dear Patrick,

Thank you for applying to the Class of 2016. We regret that we will not be able to offer you a place in the class entering the Air Force Academy this year. Your record received an in-depth review by a panel of experienced Air Force Academy faculty and staff. Unfortunately, we must turn away many outstanding individuals who would make excellent officers.

A number of cadets who were not offered an appointment on their first attempt were admitted to the academy after one or more years of college. If you wish to reapply next year, you can strengthen you application by enrolling in a technical major in college. During that year, you should take Calculus I and II, Chemistry(with lab), Physics, two semesters of English, and a social science course. More advanced courses in math science and engineering have also helped to increase competitiveness.

We also urge you to consider AFROTC as another road to an Air Force commission. This would provide you with an opportunity to earn your college degree while also training for a career in the Untied States Air Force. AFROTC in available at a wide variety of colleges and universities across the United States.

Patrick, we appreciate you interest in attending the Air Force Academy and wish you the very best in all your future endeavors.

I thought you got into Prep, Fry.

Prep students need to submit another app for the C/O 2017. I think it's a bit more condensed, though.

Yeah I got into the p. We still have to go through the application process again though, like AFrpaso said. I don't remember what, but there are parts of it that will get waived; the ALO interview and the essays come to mind.

I am going to attend Washington State University on an AFRTOC scholarship in mechanical engineering. I would really rather attend The University of Washington (in Seattle), but I could potentially loose the ROTC money if I went there. I am also going to reapply to USAFA.

Nice! Good plan and good luck!
