I'm lurking these days, but every day my thoughts turn to those who are waiting. I vividly remember the feeling of "this could be the day"! Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers for a perfect ending to your CGA journey.
 
Power Outages???

Okay...now I have to ask...since USCGA has been dealing with this incident and graduation is on wednesday...does this mean emails haven't been sent to hopeful "wait listers?" I can't even imagine what you guys are going through over there....Holy Moly!! :eek: We have a saying for things like this...one thing after another and another

"You just can't make this stuff up!!"

Good Luck with the power and I'm sure graduation will be a HUGE success! :thumb:

Correct...even though we never lost power in Admissions, the north side of the base is on a different grid, we haven't had email or network/internet connectivity since the rest of the base lost power on Monday morning. The telephone and voicemail system also hasn't been working very well, so please be patient if you've been trying to call us. We're closed tomorrow [Wednesday] for Commencement, so those wait list notification e-mails will be going out on Thursday as long as everything is working again by then.

Reprieve!!!! At least until Thursday.
 
Thanks Objee for the update, we're all hanging tight until the final notification.
I hope the sun shines brightly for tomorrow's graduation. The cadets and their families deserve a dry sunny day.:smile:

No worries on our end we can wait a couple more days. The bigger issue is graduation, I hope the graduating class can have commencement on the Academy grounds to keep with the tradition. Praying for power!!!

Just got home and saw that we're still in a holding pattern til Thursday. I can deal with that. :thumb:

I'll pray that the rain stops long enough for the Class of 2010 to cross that stage and receive their commissions as new ensigns. Congratulations on all your hard work! :shake:
 
So, here we are at Thurs. May 20 and still no postings??? It's going to be a long weekend again, but hopefully the sun keeps shining.:smile:
 
No contact via phone or internet

I have been trying to get a call into the Academy and even tried to log onto their web site and it times out no one answers the phone. Anyone know if power or computers are out?

Power Outage

On another thread USNA1982BGO received a message from Admissions stating they may be without power for the next week. Therefore email and phone are sporadic.
 
i got back in touch with my AO and he called to make sure i am going to apply next year and he said he's going to send me some info in July but wanted to call and tell me to make sure i apply next year :smile:
