is killing me!! Positive thoughts for all the other families that are playing the waiting game!

Same here, whether good or otherwise several things fell into place that kept my application from being complete until the morning of Feb. I had a lot of interesting e-mail issues with my teachers and their Rec's but that's another story!

I fear I'm near the bottom of the list might be one of the last reviewed (aaahhhh). I don't know how that works out though, I like many got an e-mail recently asking about grades and a notification about being reviewed soon or something of the sort.

Here's to everyone still waiting! Hope to see you guys (and myself) on R-Day.

Objee, any chance you could tell us roughly how many candidates have yet to be reviewed/notified?

Have not seen any posts from Objee for last week. You may find out quicker if you call your Admissions Officer.

All reviews have been completed and the remaining Regular Admission notifications (approximately 350 applicants) will be released in about two hours.

DS was not selected. Off to USMMA yeah!

While you guys are waiting for admissions into USCGA, I'm waiting for admissions into AIM.

haha.

I hope you get in! It was a great experience for my son. Lots of good information on these forums. Seemed like just yesterday he was waiting for an AIM decision. Hard to believe that was a year ago.

Waitlist

My DS is waiting to hear from the waitlist as well. He heard quite a while ago from EA 1 that he was waitlisted and accepted his spot. He has been sporting military hair style every month this year, and is planning on getting up at 5 a.m. this spring every day to be ready for the sleep routine.

He has been training physically and preparing himself mentally for this. He did not apply to any other service academies, because he wanted just the CGA. I am practicing patience, breathing and positive thinking. It is so very exciting, energizing, and agonizing at the same time.

We made some additional wait list offers to Regular Admission applicants, so the total count is probably around 175 now.
