The Waiting Continues

DD received one via FedEx this past Thursday. HOWEVER, she had been waiting on a waiver that was JUST approved. (She also had an LOA)
 
Our son got his BFE on Thursday via Fed Ex. He did not have a LOA or a waiver.Good luck to those still waiting!!!
 
Our son received BFE a little over a week ago. He had LOA but was waiting on waiver. Good luck.

The reason everyone cannot hear by April 15 is really quite simple. CGO has an obligation to each and every MOC to satisfy their slate. By April 15, a primary/principal candidate has been identified from each of these slates and has been offered an appointment. They have until May 1 to accept. For those who decline, a backup must be identified. Should the number two candidate be eligible for and have been offered another appointment (Presidential, SecNav, National Pool, etc., they are simply moved into the MOC’s appointment slot. And someone on the waiting list will move into the opened slot in order to fill the class. However, if the number two candidate does not have an appointment from another source, someone in the district must be appointed, not someone from the waiting list, unless, by pure coincidence, they happen to reside in that MOC‘s district. Hence, the late notifications. Not national pool competitive and hoping the primary/principal candidate declines his appointment. I think the catalog states that MOST will hear by April 15. This is why ALL will not hear.
