When I talk about scholarships going up, I'm referring to seeing them posted in our system (CCIMS) that we can see at the Battalion. When I talk about the scholarship going out I'm talking about the offer letter signed by the General at Cadet Command being mailed. Once that is done my understanding is statuses will change on the scholarship status website the applicants have access to. Hope that makes more sense.
I got the transfer request I knew about adjudicated before the third board was done at my school. Where you talking to the ROO at the school you are trying to transfer too? Do they have room and allocations? I pressed for a decision because I wanted to lock in the scholarship before they offered any third rounders. If your ROO/Battalion waited then you will probably have to wait until third round offers are resolved. The request goes up to Cadet Command, but they are just going to push it back down to Brigade, and Brigade is probably going to check with the gaining Battalion to make sure they want the applicant, hence you need to be talking to that ROO or Battalion.Need help understanding the process. I understand that a scholarship transfer almost requires divine intervention. There is hope in that it's an expensive school to an out of state SMC. Are transfer decisions made on this third board? Is the transfer process separate from the "boards"? DS is staying busy and focused. Personally, I'm pulling my hair out waiting.
