Hello all,

Ok I e-mailed my ALO ten days ago essentially introducing myself and telling him what I was doing ( App. for Academys & ROTC). However I have gotten no response from him. Have I done somthing wrong???? I am planning on calling him tomorrow. Is this OK or is it to early for me to start talking to him? Im sorry Im still kinda new at this:redface:.

Thanks,
Kevster

I say be aggressive from the start. After all, you want to be in the Academy, right?

Just remember that while being aggressive, also be courteous. I think your timing for starting contact with the ALO is just about perfect right now and shouldn't do you any harm.

A. No such thing as a stupid question.
B. I remember my son having the same trouble once early in the process. Turned out the ALO was away for several weeks and was happy to talk to him when my son followed up. air_power is right, persistent but courteous.

very true, they have several other responsibilities besides being an ALO! if it helps you any, i wrote mine a letter first, and then when i got no response after about two weeks, i sent an email. he finally responded a few weeks later when he returned HOME!!

twice to thrice is eager enough, we promise no one is ignoring you! :thumb:

PST me and I'll get in touch with the ALO...ALO's have a responisiblity and if he/she isn't living up to it, I want to know about it!!

Yet another "dumb" question lol. Does our PO box number have anything to do with what squadron we're splaced in?
