This waiting is killing me

Waiting for an answer is really taking its toll on me. I see all of the various classes walking around the Yard and it makes me wonder if I feel this way after getting on this coaster once, how do the people who have re-applied 2x or even 3x feel?? I know I have extremely solid backups in place as the coach from one of the schools has been staying in touch with me. Yes, he understands my waiting for USNA and has given me a drop date of 4-18 to accept the packet from Yale or not. I was running earlier this morning through the Yard and saw a few companies running their PRT, so I hope that they all did well enough to pass. It is nice to actually see several people from the forum out and about NAP town-Iron Rooster for my after run breakfast. Good luck to all who are still on roller coaster.

The wait. There's nothing you can do except focus on today and prepare for tomorrow. Work on the stuff you can control. Keep studying to close out your senior year strong. If you get the TWE, you'll need those high marks for next year's application and if you get BFE, you'll need the knowledge for validation tests. Its your senior year and there is plenty to do. Work on your plan B, D, E-Z. Apply for scholarships. They can be used at Service Academies and applied to your ACE Loan. Make your senior a great one! Do the senior social activities and try to check your CIS less often.(Tuesday and Friday afternoons, perhaps).

Received email this morning for DS that he was not offered an appointment nor a spot at NAPS or Foundations. Waiting for West Point notification. Plan F (Plans A, B, C being USNA or associated Prep, and Plans D and E West Point or Prep) will be his Army ROTC Scholarship attending either Texas A&M, The Citadel or Oregon State. Not too bad of a fallback position :) Onward and upward ...

You recieved a email already stating that he wasn't accepted ?

Sorry to hear :( hoping USMA comes through for him! Great other plans. He should be very proud to have such great alternatives.

Sorry to hear about the electronic TWE. Hoping that the back up plans come through for everyone.
