Maximus- My NROTC Capt. called me last night at about 10 PM. He originally called me yesterday morning during school, and left a message saying that the results were delayed and I would not find out until just before Christmas. Then, he got a call yesterday evening from Texas and gave me the good news.
 
I recently recieved a 4-year NROTC scholarship. Here's some of my stats:

3.38 GPA
2080 SAT (660 CR, 630 M)
Student Body Vice President (12th)
Student Body Treasurer (11th)
Swing Dance Club Founder/President (10-12th)
Spanish Club Treasurer(11th)
Varsity Cross Country 2 years, Captain(12th)
Band section leader, Student Director (11th-12th)
Tri M Music Honor Society (10th-12th)
3 Years DoDDS Pacific Honor Band, section leader (10th-12th)
AP Composition, Literature, Statistics

So If my GPA doesn't give people hope, I don't know what will.. :wink:
 
Swing Dance club? Do you mean 30s and 40s swing? If so that would be friggin awesome! I would def join that club
