Hello all, just did my physical test for my Army ROTC scholarship application this last weekend. Just wanted to hear your thoughts on my scores; how they seem as well as how they stack up with others. Thanks.

    5:45 mile

    64 curl ups/ sit ups. Yes, 64, it's not a typo.

    56 push-ups

By "physical test" do you mean the Physical Fitness Assessment or the Army Physical Fitness Test?

I'd pressume you were referring to the former. In that case - those are good numbers. a less than 6 minute mile is great for any incoming cadet, regardless of scholarship/no scholarship.

For the APFT, the maxes are 13 minute mile, 78 sit ups, 71 push ups. As long as you can get the remaining push ups and sits in the remaining minute, you should be fine.

So yes, those are competitive scores.

    Best of luck.

Yes, I meant the Physical Fitness Assesment, the part of the application to receive the scholarship. And thanks.
