Can multiple speeding violations render a candidate noncompetitive for an appointment?

There are multiple threads on here re. speeding tickets. Search "ticket" and "speeding", and read some of those.

For example, http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/showthread.php?t=32208&highlight=ticket+speeding

I think the consensus is that reckless driving and DUI tickets are more viewed more seriously than driving 40 in a 35. It's the recklessness and poor judgement over multiple occasions that will raise a red flag to the academies and/or ROTC units.

Not Disclosing it...

What's even worse is not disclosing the infractions. This would be viewed as dishonest. And they will find out. If you are offered an appointment and you accept it, you will have to submit finger print cards as well as criminal records that would note driving infractions

I will not cheat, lie or steel. Nor will I tolerate anyone who does.
