I received notification that I had a principal nomination on December 9, and that I was 3q on November 5. Is there any chance that I might receive notification of my admission status sooner than February?

Did your MOC tell you you have a principal? Also, does your portal say you have 2 nominations from the same source?

Yes, I received a letter from my MOC stating that I am the principal nominee.

Does your portal indicate 2 nominations from the same source?

OBT2018, my DS was in the same situation last year and did not get official notification of appointment until February. Learn patience now. You will need it if you join the Long Grey Line. Relax, make good choices and enjoy the rest of your senior year!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you just say you both got principal nominations from NC12? I believe that is impossible.

Not if there are two slates for two openings for that district.

Congrats on your non as well. I didn't even know that there could be two principals. Do you know how many interviewed? Because I met someone at the Hagan interviews that said she didn't even apply for Watt's (bad call IMO). Also, not to get too personal, but what school do you go to? I go to East Meck. Maybe we've met before.

By law, each MOC (Senators and Congressmen) can have 5 people at each Service Academy. Normally, that means that each MOC has one new slot per year. However, if one of their people separated from the Academy during the year, a MOC could have more than one slot in a given year.
