Hey, I'm going on a tour of The Citadel in two weeks and am wondering if there is anything I should do while I'm there. What I mean is that is there anything that is a "must see" besides the tour?

Many visitors enjoy seeing the Parade on Friday afternoon. It's been called the "Best free show in Charleston." The Summerall Chapel is magnificent from both the outside and inside. If you are here when there are any Baseball or other sports events, I would recommend going to those. And last but not least, the Citadel Museum is always pretty cool.

Hope you enjoy your visit!

Things to see and do in Charleston

There are many must see....must do things in Charleston.... You should visit The Battery located on Charleston Harbor..... The USS Yorktown (now a museum) is parked in Charleston Harbor.... Visit Charleston's old market area....Rainbow Row..... If you have time...I advise taking a carriage ride.....The carriage drivers are licensed tour guides and can present so many interesting Charleston facts and trivia.... You have to eat seafood while in the Holy City......

The Chapel on campus is beautiful....Many may not think so but 25 years ago this year....My wife and I were married there.....

The Citadel and Charleston have so much to offer.....Good Luck and enjoy your visit
