Alaskan,

I wish your DS the very best and welcome to this forum. May I ask one thing? Have you ever served in the military, be it as a dependent child that was forced to move around the world every couple of years or as a military member?

Just asking because there are finesse issues going down the path of becoming an officer. Some are shades of grey and some are black and white.

From a forum aspect, we try to stay away from views like yours where you stated it is the liberal world or docs on threads like this. That is why the off topic forum exists. If you want to debate an issue, than that is where you want to debate it, not here. Here it is pretty simple like Mabry stated in his post. We don't question if he is a real doctor...that can be seen as a personal attack on another poster especially since he has been here for over 3 yrs and an asset to the DoDMERB forum regarding how a candidate can navigate the DoDMERB system when they get hit with a remedial or DQ.

Not trying to pick on you or be nasty, just trying to get where you are coming from regarding your posts? I believe you are a parent of a candidate from your other posts. I just don't know if you have served or have experienced the military life. It does matter when you start saying things without understanding this is not Apple or any other company where a tick is a tick that has no impact on how they can perform their job. This is where a tick can mean the difference between life and death.
~ Let's be real... kids get DQd for things like Peanut allergies. Much easier to stay away from peanuts, peanut oil, than a tick where tapping on a desk as an Intel officer can cause that pilot briefing to be impacted because he is tapping at the same time he is saying these are the coordinates.
