Quick question - does USMA require transcripts to be sent by mail or are they electronically uploaded by the candidate's counselor?

Also, if they are done electronically, about how long do they take to process after being submitted?

Depends. If your school uses Parchment, they can use that services to send them. Otherwise, your counselor needs to put them in the mail.

Processing time varies for any number of reasons. Mailing times, storms, personnel on leave, volume of transcripts that need to be processed. As with everything dealing with your application, get it done early as possible.

It doesn't have to be via mail. My counselor did mine electronically and like he next day it showed up. I would encourage you to get your counselor to do it electronically because mail takes way too long

Also when your counselor verifies you activities and academic record it should automatically ask her to send your transcripts
