Transcript Timeline?

I was just wondering if people could comment on how long it took for USNA to log that they received their transcript after it has been sent. My transcript was sent on 08/15 and while I'm not expecting it to be entered into the system at this moment, I'm wondering when I should reasonably expect to see it in the candidate portal.

My son had his sent in this July and it took a few weeks. I would expect to see it pop up soon. It's always a good idea to double check and make sure that it WAS sent also. Sometimes those guidance counselors and teachers need reminded.

Transcript submission is the only antiquated aspect of the application process. Soon, the Academy will look into submitting transcripts via the common application. When you send transcripts, they go to a sorting center first and then to the Academy. This process can take up to four to six weeks. If you haven’t seen your transcripts appear on the CIS portal with the four to six week window, you need to call and track them down and if necessary, resubmit your transcripts.
