I sent my official high school transcript last Tuesday, and it has not been updated into the CIS. Does it normally take this long for it to be processed by the Admissions Office? Should I send another transcript just in case they did not receive it?
Or am I just being impatient?:confused:

I suggest waiting until the end of this week, maybe even Monday. If it has not shown up by then, you should email the admissions office and ask if they received it. If not, send another copy.
 
In my letter from USNA, it states that the transcript must come from the school. My counselor was being very slow, so I asked if I could send one(certified, sealed and all) in to them.They replied that the school must send it. Don't know if that helps or not.
 
Ohhh. I didn't realize it had to be sent from school. The office lady at my school told me I had to send it myself :p
So if a school counselor has to send the transcript, is it not a hard copy??
 
I found the transcript information in the third paragraph of my official candidate letter. It says the transcript is the only piece of the application sent in the mail. My school sent a certified paper transcript. I could not find any info about the transcript in the CIS system. Hope this helps.
 
Thank you. :smile: I'll be asking my counselor tomorrow to have her send my transcript. Hopefully it gets into the system soon because I've had all other parts completed for some time now. :frown:
