I need to contact my school so they can send out my official transcript, but I do not know what address to send it to at USNA. Anyone have that information? Thanks!

yeah thats the address, admissions told me to put unites states naval academy under the first line.

Thanks K_Delrosario, that eliminates one of my problems. Now if only my BGO would email me back.

Yeah, I am actually having problems locating my BGO. I was assigned a resigned BGO officer, so I'm still trying to locate mine :frown:

I've shot my BGO a couple emails and he hasn't responded, I think I'm just going to try to call him a couple times and if that doesn't work, I'll contact admissions. Have you talked to your admissions officer?

Thanks for the info K.

Sorry for the BGO difficulty. I was suprised when upon my arrival home from NASS1, my parents informed me that my BGO had already contacted the house. Seems like he's "squared away".

Hey.. Checking CIS, it indicates that they have not received my ACT scores yet. I took the test twice (10/08 & 2/09) already and each time listed USNA. The ACT website says they were sent the scores. Any thoughts?

Good luck to fellow 2014 hopefuls.

Well I contacted the person that appoints the BGO(sorry dont remember official term) and he gave me an address so that I could email him. He stated once I emailed him he would get me in touch with my BGO. Unfortunatly I emailed him about a month ago and nothing was sent back in return. So I guess contacting admissions should be the next step I take. Thankyou for the help :thumb:

Please remember that not all emails reach their destination. Many sophisticated spam filters will keep them from reaching the intended party and do not necessarily bounce them back.

Be sure to send all email with both a received and read receipt. If, after several days of the receipt delivery, you do not hear back, then attempt to phone if you have the number. If not, perhaps a boring snail mail letter would be in order.

Remember that BGO officers do this as a volunteer job. They have, for the most part, regular day jobs that occupy their time during normal business hours.

Good Luck to all.

yeah I've had some trouble with my BGO too. Also, I sent an email to my regional director and I haven't heard anything either. I'm thinking about giving it another week and then calling.

I also sent my SAT scores and they haven't been recieved either. I'm glad I'm not the only one with some roadblocks.

That sucks chan, you're in cali too so theres probably more than 20 regional directors.

Keep in mind you don't necessarily have to bring all your inquiries to YOUR BGO. Try to get in contact with a BGO from the neighboring county and have them guide you or advise you. They might even be able to contact your specific BGO more directly than you would be able to.

Back in March when my BGO wasn't answering, I called the BGO from a nearby county and he gave me some good pointers. Soon enough though, my BGO probably got embarassed and called me and maintained contact. Now, she answers every time I call

What squad were you in? I was at Session 1 also and was in Bravo 2 1. Also, I had a problem with sending my scores as well. I think the reason they didn't receive my scores was because I wasn't an official candidate when I originally sent in my SAT scores in (October). I recently just resent them, but they haven't received them yet. I think if that doesn't work, I'll have my school send in my scores with my transcript.
