hello,

I sent in my 6 semester transcripts about 3 weeks ago but USMA still has not received them yet. Does it usually take this long? I am assuming that its taking awhile because they're busy with 4000+ candidates out there...

I don't think they should take that long to get in, but there is the chance they are just a bit 'clogged up' with all the applications coming in. A lot of kids wait until really late to finish and get stuff in. I'd say contact them about it if its still not up by end of the week.

DS transcript got sent on a Tuesday and posted by that Friday. But that was in July, I think, so volume at the admissions office was likely not an issue. If you didn't personally send the transcript (i.e., it was done by someone in the high school office sending on your behalf) it wouldn't hurt to request a resend. Emails and FAXes do, at times, get lost in the ether...

Wait a little bit longer and get them resent. I had the same problem when applying and I had to resend.
The thing is, if anything happens en route, or while at the academy -- it's on you to get your stuff in on time, regardless.

Email or call your admissions officer to see if they have them.

I emailed my regional commander and he said that mail was backlogged currently. I will keep checking up on them until I receive confirmation that they did receive it.
