Transfer from USMA to USMMA

sorry I can't help much, but I'm hoping to transfer from USMMA to USAFA. I heard from my ALO that switching academies has been done before, but I'm not sure of the process.

The way you "transfer" between academies is by filling out the application as if you were a freshman at any other college in the country. You then start all over again as a freshman. All academies require you to complete all four years so there is no advanced standing offered.
I wouldn't recommend going to any Academy with the intention of transferring to another as you are simply taking away a slot from someone who actually wants to attend that particular school. Once you leave that slot nobody will ever fill it, so you have simply wasted it. Has it been done in the past, sure, one of my original classmates ended up at the Naval Academy, but is definitely not common.
