Travel Reimbursement to R-day

    Hey! So I understand that the academy will reimburse you for your plane ticket, but my family and I are leaning towards driving to R-day. Will we somehow get compensated for gas or a hotel? Thanks!

    I never understood why a cash-strapped organization reimburses folks before they've even taken the Oath.

    Since the Class of 2019 Cadet Handbook hasn't been sent out yet, you can refer to 2018's at this link: http://www.cga.edu/2018/

    Travel is covered on page 9.

    So it looks like it's a max of $129..... and that was for the class of 2018. Of course, the amounts could change, but that would give you an idea, provided nothing changes.
