So I messed up. I am a sophomore AFROTC cadet who failed the AFOQT twice and tried to get a waiver unfortunately It got denied at the last stage. I am a dedicated cadet who has a 97 PFA score a 3.6 GPA and now I am not going to be able to be an officer because of just 4 points on the math section of the AFOQT. I can really use any advice on what I should do from here. Unfortunately being an Air Force officer has been my dream since I was a kid. I really don't know what to do and need some help. I really appreciate it thank you!

I would look into ANGs and OCS. The problem maybe you busted the AFOQT twice, but unless you research it, you will never knew if they will waive it for you and allowed a 3rd attempt.

Guard units operate differently than ADAF. They do have FT Guard positions, but you interview with that unit alone. IE there is no Big Blue hiring for every unit. You don't apply to the 104th, than they won't hire you.

I would lurk on baseops.net,and use their search function to see if any disenrolled AFROTC cadet was able to get an OCS slot.

I would also ask for a sit down with your CoC. See if they know it is possible to go ANG or OCS.

If your still interested in serving as an Active Duty Officer, you may want to talk to the AROTC Recruiting Officer and Cadre if there is an AROTC Battalion at your school. Your GPA would be attractive to the Battalion and if you do well Active Duty would be very possible.
