I had the honor of running the Tunnel to Towers again this year 9/24 and felt I should share with those that do not have the opportunity to here what a great showing there was from all the academies. There was representation there that I saw from USMMA, USNA, CGA AND USMA. USMA had an impressive amount I would assume because of the close proximity and being voluntold. Not saying USAFA wasn’t there but I did not see them. Colorado to NY would be a hike to say the least. Coming out of the tunnel to see all the flags, first responders and all sorts of JROTC holding pictures of our fallen here and abroad is tough. Chokes me up every time! I have my moments of contempt and agrevation but when I see this it grounds me immediately. Well needed reality check, NEVER FORGET!

Your description of coming out of the tunnel gave me chills, and allergies. I have donated to T2T for years. Incredible organization. Just incredible.

Two of my former students (one at USMA, the other at USMMA) sent pictures...they're both "plebes/first year" so it was good for them to get out, see each other, and do this.
(The WooPoo guy said KP was faster)

Made this old guy prouder.

When Frank Siller did his Never Forget Walk in 2021, he walked through my town. My Midsib son was the drum major of our HS marching band at the time, and helped lead Mr. Siller down the road along with the rest of the band.

That was in September. The following May, the band did their final concert of the year. And when the lights came up, there was Frank Siller sitting with the rest of the audience. He came unannounced simply to come watch and support the band. That was special.
