I received a four year scholarship to Cornell University that would begin this fall. According to the DODMERB site I am still "pending waiver submission/review" on an unlikely waiver for color deficiency. For many reasons I have decided this is no longer an avenue I wish to pursue. How do I formally turn down the scholarship? Should I contact the unit at my school or someone in Pensacola?

    Turning down an NROTC.....

You can do one of two things contact the NROTC Coordinator which could be or should listed on your paperwork. Two the contact the individual who sent your paperwork. I am very sorry to read this is longer an option. Hope this helps.

Thank you rkrosnar, I find it shocking that with school starting in a week my status is still pending...
