U.S. military vehicles paraded 300 yards from the Russian border

I actually wrote a position paper last week that said just the opposite.

Stingers did not turn the tide

The mujahideen got heavy machine guns around the same time they got a few stingers

The heavy dshk guns where able to fend off hinds
